  • Admissions Procedures

    Step 1.

Complete the Student Application Form and return it with the Application Fee. All of the following must accompany the application and fee:

    • Current immunization record
    • Birth Certificate
    • Copy of current and previous year’s report cards
    • Copy of most current and previous year’s achievement test scores
    • Completed Parents’ Commitment Form

    Step 2.

When the Application Form is returned, it will be processed and you will receive information regarding entrance assessment.

    Step 3.

New students will be required to take an entrance assessment prior to admission. Students entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before December 1, 2006. Students entering 1st grade must be 6 years old on or before December 1, 2006. Students entering 2nd grade must be 7 years old on or before December 1, 2006. Christian Community Preschool students entering Kindergarten whose birth date is July 1, 2001 or after, are required to be screened. Christian Community Preschool students whose birth date is prior to July 1, 2001, will not be required to be screened unless recommended by the Christian Community Preschool staff.

    Step 4.

A personal interview with an Administrator will be scheduled upon completion of steps 1-3. We ask that both parents attend when possible, and that students applying for grades 6-8 also attend. All kindergarten families are required to attend a CCS New Parent Meeting before the admission process can be completed.

    Step 5.

An admission and placement evaluation will be done by the administration based on the following factors:

    • Parent and student agreement with the school's philosophy and policies
    • Student's grades, test scores and the CCS assessment
    • Student's attitude towards enrollment at CCS
    • Student's willingness to cooperate and put forth effort

    Step 6.

Upon acceptance to CCS, your first month’s tuition and registration fees become due and payable as explained in our financial policy.

    Step 7.

New families are required to attend a Back to School Night scheduled just prior to the start of the school year. Additional information regarding this meeting, and other pertinent information will be mailed in August.
